Initially launched in 2015 with a simple objective of contributing in the development of the grassroots level of Philippine basketball, Titan Basketball Academy has built a community brought together by the same passion they have for the game.

"The idea behind TBA is to give ballers of all ages and skill level a platform to improve their skills.

You don't want to just work out to get a work out in. There needs to be a focus and attention to detail in everything you are doing.

This is the goal of the academy.

To work hard, but at the same time work smart. These are the habits you want to instill for maximum growth."

In the recently concluded second module of the Titan Basketball Academy, a curated basketball development program focusing on the different aspects of the game was completed by aspiring young ballers.

Coach Jeff as Titan’s head of basketball operations and Banjo Albano as the TBA Head Coach were backed up by a star-studded and experienced guest players and coaches such as Mike Cortez, Don Dulay, Mon Jose, Mikee Reyes, Paulo Hubalde, and Deer Valley Titans Tony dela Cruz, Simon Enciso, Marc Pingris, Mark Barroca, Troy Rosario, Peter Jun Simon and so on. These are individuals who have made a name for themselves through the years and TBA has become a platform for them to share everything they’ve learned and contribute in the development of the youth.

"Sharing my love for the game by inspiring the young ones that talent is not enough. Success takes a lot of time, patience and hardwork. Never stop learning. There is always room for improvement no matter how good you are,” 12-year veteran Paulo Hubalde shared when asked about TBA.

As cliche as it sounds, the future is definitely bright for Philippine basketball. Filipinos’ passion for the game is continuously growing and it shows with how young kids are getting into the game but there’s still a lot of work to be done. "Put your focus on the things you can control & relentlessly work towards your goals. When you prioritize your time to improve yourself daily, opportunities & success on & off the court will find you.”, head coach Banjo Albano mentioned.
